Leo Weinreb

Leo joined EWG in 2021 after several years working as an environmental and political activist. Before joining EWG, he was a production associate at Anne Lewis Strategies, where he produced emails for a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Friends of the Earth and Food and Water Watch. He has campaigned for local issues in New Haven, Conn., such as the push for the implementation of ranked choice voting in Connecticut and ecological composting campaigns in schools.

Leo is a native of New Haven and a graduate of the University of Chicago, where he majored in public policy and creative writing. In his spare time, Leo enjoys programming 1980s-style text-based adventure games, hiking, writing poetry and playing the trumpet and guitar.
