Sophia Jefferson

Sophia’s passion for the environment comes from growing up near the ocean, in Rhode island. She received her bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary, where she majored in history and minored in Hispanic studies. During college, Sophia worked with multiple nonprofits, including the Environmental Voter Project, where she helped increase the turnout of environmentalists in the 2020 general election. She worked briefly as a paralegal before jumping back into the nonprofit world at EWG. In her free time, you can find her checking out new D.C. restaurants, exploring the city and rooting for the Red Sox.
